GLOUCESTER — Margaret M. "Peg" (Cavanaugh) Cahoon, 84, wife of the late Thomas E. Cahoon Jr., died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Peg was originally from Gloucester and later had lived in Lecanto, Fla. She most recently was living in the Oak Hill Apartments in Ipswich.   Read more »

KINGSTON, N.H.— Robert Henry Andersen, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010.

He was born in Winthrop, May 14, 1920, the son of the late Henry and Anna (Peterson) Andersen. He graduated from Gloucester High School, Gloucester, and Essex Agricultural School, Danvers, before moving to Kingston in 1944 with his wife Marjorie (Jones) Andersen.   Read more »

GLOUCESTER — Michael L. Feener, 51, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 with his family by his side in the Addison Gilbert Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Oct. 19, 1957, he was the son of Mary (Bailey) Feener. He was a graduate of the Gloucester High School, Class of 1975.

He was the husband of Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Marchant) Berg.

LAS VEGAS — Mary Leslie (Tracy) Smith passed away unexpectedly in Las Vegas, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009. She died peacefully in her sleep.
