GLOUCESTER — Eleanor May Nunes, 92, formerly of Concord Street, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in the Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Gloucester on Jan. 26, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Manuel A. and Emma W. (Newman) Nunes. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1934.   Read more »

ROCKPORT — Kenneth R. Dagle, 79, husband of Patricia A. (Selig) Dagle, of Rockport, died on Friday morning, June 12, 2009 at the Addison Gilbert Hospital.

Born in Gloucester on April 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Spenser A. Dagle Sr. and Alice (Rice) Dagle. Mr. Dagle was a graduate of Gloucester High School. He had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.   Read more »

GLOUCESTER — Mary Jane (Scangas) Beaudette, 55, wife of John Beaudette, of Gloucester, passed away quietly on Saturday, May 30, 2009 in the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mary Jane was born in Gloucester, on Jan. 31, 1954, the daughter of Ellen (Bowman) Lucas and the late James Scangas.

He was born in Gloucester on June 26, 1950, to Janette (Main) Palmer and the late Clayton "Bill" Palmer.

GLOUCESTER — Martha L. (Story) Anderson, 83, of 6R Langsford St., died early Tuesday morning, April 14, 2009 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following an extended illness.
